Real Name: Rowan
Alias or Nick-name: Tarot
Age: somewhere in her 20's
Height/Weight: 5'8 or so, about 110 pounds (Never seen these stats officially posted anywhere, this is an estimate based on visuals in the comics)
Eyes: Green
Hair: Red
Persuasion: Good
Powers/Weapons: She's a witch, very capable with Spells. She has precognition powers, usually coming in the form of Tarot cards in visions and dreams. She is the Goddess' sword maiden, and has a sword handed to her by the Goddess herself. Her costume is designed specifically as armor, capable of shielding her from most spellwork and curses. She also has a familiar named Pooka, though it looks like a winged cat, it is actually a type of goblin.
History: Tarot found it difficult living as a family of witches, especially since it was not done secretively. Everyday the family was persecuted by people who constantly insulted them, as they didn't understand witches so they feared them and wished to see them destroyed.
So it was that Tarot, Raven and their mother and father were forced to keep to themselves and perform their traditions in hiding though they continued to do them joyously.
They were happy because, as witches, they could see things ordinary mortals could not including the full glory of both the natural and the supernatural. They were also capable of interacting with beings from the Fairy Realm such as the numerous fairies that now inhabit the mansion that is the family's home.
And though the family tried so hard to share this feeling with the world they were instead hated for being different and humanity remained trapped in their bland world. Finally, this hate came to a climax when the kids at school cornered Raven and Rowan into a tree at recess and one of them threw a stone.
The stone struck Tarot in the forehead, and the children laughed but Raven became enraged and unleashed her fury. Using her magick she snapped the tree limb above them so it injured several kids and broke the arm of the one who threw the stone. The two girls were sent home, and blamed for starting the fight.
When the two come home and Tarot's father learns of the incident he becomes full of anger and contacted the school but in their effort to remain unaffiliated with the family they simply expelled the girls right then, expecting their troubles to end.
However, he turned to the Forbidden Book of Shadows to bring about their destruction but the threefold-law of the witches caused the magick that destroyed the school to consume him as well in its raging fire. So it was that Tarot watched as Raven turned to darkness while she stood with her mother.
In the aftermath, RavenHex steals the Forbidden book, and tries to use it to bring her father back, and Tarot has to confront her sister and fight the demons the book calls to this plane.
Meeting up with a dark man from a vision who is the Skeleton Man, Tarot finds help she needs, the Lover's card showing her there is much more to this chance meeting to be seen.
Over time they fall in love, though Tarot turns down his proposal for marriage on the worry of his safety due to her position as the Goddess' Sword-maiden and the enemies she has gained from this.
Tarot fights all sorts of magickal battles, facing enemies such as the Dragon Witches, Fae, Zombies, and even Demons.
***This part of the history is taken from the Board's history, from her past appearance here on ComicFun!***
In the Vault plot Tarot came home to find that the Forbidden Book had been stolen again, this time a couple covener's dying in the theft, and RavenHex was mysteriously missing.
In the end of the Vault Purgatori took over Tarot's mind, making her attack RavenHex, resulting in their deaths.
Not wanting to ruin some well plotted out details, I'll show her resurrection from Death in the first plot.
