While imprisoned in an S.H.I.E.L.D. facility, five terrorist from different organizations who were confined together in the same cell discovered that they had something in common: a passionate love for 80’s pop music. They spent many nights singing their favorite songs, all the while annoying the other prisoners around them. It’s said that Klaw tried to convert himself into pure white noise to drown out their rendition of “Our House”. Fortunately for the group, a Hydra cell attacked the facility and liberated the prisoners within. Since then, the five have kept in touch and ultimately decided to form an 80’s tribute band, calling themselves Freddy Destroys Hollywood. The members of the band are:
Vincent: Bassist and lead vocal. A Hydra agent who was kicked out for cowardice during an attack by Wolverine. (A common ground for termination in the organized terrorist community)
Hong: Lead guitarist, keyboard guitarist, and backup vocals. A member of the Hand who loves karaoke so much he risks sneaking away from the group whenever the band has a gig. The other members nicknamed him “Dong”, which he hates.
Julian: Backup vocals and tambourine. A former guard for the Hellfire Club who was let go for cowardice when Wolverine made a rescue attempt on his fellow X-Men.(See what I mean?)
Poindexter: piano and synthesizer. An A.I.M. member who constantly signs up for field research so he can attend gigs. Provides the band’s instruments and is clumsy sometimes.
Doug: Drums. Lost his job within the Secret Empire after the base was destroyed during an intense battle against Spider-Man, Moon Knight, the Punisher, Darkhawk, Night Thrasher, and Nova.
