I'm still very excited right now, because today was I-Con, Iowa's (pretty much only) comic book convention. Everytime I go to these it's a blast. But this year, I went in costume. I dressed as Cannonball in his original New Mutants uniform. Took me some time and effort to piece it together, but it was fucking worth it! The smiles and complements that people were giving me were so nice. Got to take a few pictures with people, shake hands, talk to random people, fun all around.
Some amusing stuff that happened included: getting beat out of the trivia contest during the first round, even though I was a heavy favorite early on; got asked to be apart of a New Mutants group for a future con by a girl dressed as Supergirl; almost robbed Gary Friedrich, co-creator of Ghost Rider; and getting a free door prize just for knowing one of the guys incharge of the table, and cause nobody was claming what was left. Hehehe

When you see your favorite RE character standing next to you and he complaints your costume, your lucky you don't pass out long enough to take a picture.
Trust me, I'm totaly smiling on the inside.
Overall, it was awesome. Can't wait til next year. ;D
