Johny Theed and the individual known only as 'Boneyard' are a pair of low-level street toughs who've utalized their powers to make a living as bodyguards and theives. Shadow's the brains of the pair, generally cool and collected, while Boneyard, who's a little slow but quick to fight, acts as the muscle.
Boneyard is a Mutant who's epidermis has taken on a bone like consistency. This grants him a level of invulnerability against standard attacks. He also poseses super-human strength. While he is able to move with this skin, he is a little slower than a normal human. He's roughly 7 1/2 feet tall, his 'skin' is white, his face has bone-like features (kind of like the live-action Skeletor from the old Master's flick, but buffer). He's generally clad in cammo-pattern pant, combat boots, and two bandoilers holding them up for him.
Shadow is a mutant capable of channeling 'Darkforce' energies, similar to the Hero Cloak. He is able to transform his body into a living shadow, making himself both intangible and capable of phasing through objects and other people (wich often leaves them with a freezing 'numb' sensation where he touched). He can also create 'shadow portals' using his own shadow, allowing teleportation for himself and others. He's around 5 ft 8, thinner, with dark hair and oddly dark eyes, which he keeps hidden behind bottle-rimmed sunglasses. He's got a pale compexion and has stated his aversion to being in direct sunlight. He's clad in a black shirt, black jeen, hidden under a black trenchcoat.
