A Dreaming Mission

Hi, so now that I've practised a bit, I'd like if possible to start a mini (tiny, in fact) storyline with Dream.

I had an idea for it. Somewhere on Earth a man or woman has learned the ability or has some artifact or other that allows them to damage the reality of the Dreaming whilst they sleep.

Basically it means that, in dreams normal people sort of drift around and have visions, but this person has learned to control his visions, and break into other people's dreams and by doing so has started damaging Morpheus' realm.

So Morpheus decides to go and have 'words' with this rogue dreamer, but as he/she has gained some power over the fabric of The Dreaming, he/she shifts other people's dreams in the way between him/her and Morpheus to slow him down.

So basically, Morpheus has to travel through several dreamlands until he can confront this rogue dreamer.

I thought that if Morpheus encountered one of the characters in this board who decided to go along with him on his mission, it'd be a lot more fun. Obviously he'd come into contact with them in their dream, and he'd either request their help (less likely) or they'd insist on coming along (more likely).

So if you fancy coming along on a mission with Morpheus, please let me know. It'll be fun, I promise! =D

[Nyx]

My character Nyx is actually capable of reaching into dreams, wandering them and changing them. She is going to be spending a lot of time in the dream realm for a while in her current timeline (not that time continuity has much to do with dream time continuity or anything) and it would be good for her to come across Morpheus either to learn or just to have someone else to interact with in dreams.

Nyx isn't hte type to either demand or even ask to go along with anything at the moment, but if Morpheus perhaps saw some potential in her to be useful in some way, or just a possibly interesting companion, it wouldn't take but asking her and she would go with him.

Anyway, if you want to check out her profile I'll psot the link at the end of this, and she also just did he re-intro post for the new board the other day, I can post that as well. SHe actually uses her power in that thread, and it could be possibly for Morpheus to stumble across her in that thread, if you would like.

Well it seems that our character's paths were bound to cross at some point, looking at how closely related their powers are.

Actually I think that Luc might be perfect for this. Since unlike a regular human dreamer she'd have a degree of control over her surroundings, she'd be more of a help than a hinderence to Morpheus.

So let's say he's found two individuals, your character and our made-up rogue dreamer. He finds Luc first to halt her powers, but decides that instead she could come with him to find the other one to prove that she is worthy of her abilities? And by the end of it he decides that she isn't a problem for The Dreaming?

How does this sound to you? =]
