Hovering on top of a sand dune, Dr. Strangefate sits and waits. He has been sitting here for an hour, waiting patiently for his prey to arrive. All he can do is think about how he has come to this point….
Over a month ago, he was working in his tower in New Gotham City, working feverishly to end the constant riffs that were appearing in his reality. He has been aware of these riffs for nearly two years, trying desperately to fix the problem that was happening. But the more he worked the less he saw results. He eventually came to the conclusion that the problem couldn’t be solved, because the cause was how his world was created.
When the goddess, Dawn, integrated the Amalgam universe into the collected mulitverse, she did so hastily. A young and imperfect deity, she did not realize the strain it would cause on his world. When a world that is the combination of two separate worlds, come to exist between the very worlds the make up its existence, a gravimetric pull is formed. Like two magnets stationed between a copper wire, it pulls the world in two different direction, and thu riffs begin to show. Also taking into account, were the massive tampering in the space/time continuum that the two worlds caused. This causes a sort of wave effect that expands and contracts the gravimetric pull between to two worlds, thus causing even more riffs.
This continued until a massive crisis in the continuum caused a powerful wave, one that caused a large enough riff to form on his world to completely destroy it. The destruction came so quickly that Dr. Strangefate barely had enough time to save himself, let alone anyone else. When he emerged from the devisation, he find that he was alone, the only survivor of a dead reality. Now trapped on this world, a merger of the two worlds that formed his, without any hope of ever seeing home again. This place sickened him.
[glow=black,2,300]“But if I am to lose my world,” [/glow]he thought. [glow=black,2,3000]“then I’m going to take this world from them. Why should my world be destroyed, while this God-forsaken place is allowed to exist?[/glow]
So over the next month, Dr. Strangefate began an extensive study of this world and all who dwell on it. It is this study that has led him here, 100 kilometers east of Tripoli, capital of Libya. It is 9:30 PM, and his patience has paid off, as two pairs of vehicles meet in the center of a clearing between several sand dunes. It is an isolated spot in the middle of nowhere, best used as the location for illegal dealings. From one set of vehicles, members of a small, Middle Eastern terrorist set called the Blinding Light. From the other vehicles, agents from a much larger terrorist organization called Hydra, led by their mistress Viper. The moment he saw her, he teleported down to her location, appearing in front of a large Ankh symbol. The two terrorist factions were about to fire on the intruder, but were frozen in place, due solely to his telepathy. With a wave of his hand, he teleported himself and his prey 300 kilometers from where they were a moment ago.
She immediately went for her side arm, but he waved his hand again and made her weapon vanish from her hand. She then lunged towards him, hoping to fight her capture. Again, Strangefate waved his hand, and she was now bound by mystical shackles, hovering in the air with him. As she began to shout obscenities at him, he teleported another person to their location, having her appear beside Viper. This woman was Talia Al Ghul, daughter to the vile and ruthless Ra’s Al Ghul. The two captured women began to shout and threaten their capture, only to fall on deaf ears. He was busy chanting and concentrating his energy into a powerful spell. Then, he channeled the energy into the two captured women, causing a blinding light that flashed brightly in the Sahara night. When the light and smoke cleared, both women were gone, only to be replaced by a woman with the combined beauty, brains, and ruthlessness of Talia Al Ghul and Viper.
[glow=black,2,300]“Welcome, my dear. You are but the first of my Amalgamated army. You will assist me in taking this world from the so-called heroes, and making it in to a true amalgam universe. Not this pathetic merger of two inferior worlds. Welcome…Viperi-Dalia.”[/glow]
With an evil smirk, Viperi-Dalia acknowledges her masters worlds, and the two teleports away. Dr. Strangefate’s plan was beginning to take fruition, and soon the heroes will have to face a terror that they have never faced before….
