As John moves forward and I move right behind him and then there is a loud thunder blast that rocks the side of the building from the sentinel just as we were to make our exit and to get the slag away from the sentinel although it wouldn’t be a good idea at the moment and it would mean that the city would have more damage which they city really didn’t need not after what happened between Kami and Alice and the wall collapses.
And sends both of us to the harbors edge, sitting up and shaking the off the stars that are dancing in front of my eyes.
The chilly nights air hits me and I shiver a little, standing up and I look for John and see he is okay for the moment and see him moving towards me slowly. I quickly look around the surrounding area to see if I had an idea as to where we are in the city and see that we are at the harbor of the city.
Trying to remember which to head back to the school and nothing comes to my mind must be the couple hard knocks to the head must have jarred my memory or something and of all times I can’t even remember the way back to the school and this bites big time.
Then again it’s best to stay here and duke it out with the sentinel which isn’t going to be an easy task for both of us at least the city won’t suffer any more damage though the harbor is going to be a mess when this is finished oh boy I can sure can hear Mr. Summer’s screaming on top of his lungs at both of us not a pretty thing or sight.
Hearing the sentinel say that it was now ready to take its targets out and return to home base, yeah whatever and what was left of the building in which it came from.
Seeing John changed his mind and throws mud at the Sentinels eyes that was a really dumb move there knuckle head, you just pissed the sentinel off, and then John charges the Sentinel seeing he had something in his hands and it looked like John was going to try to take one of the legs out from under the sentinel which wasn’t a too bad of an idea.
Seeing a pipe and I grab it and I also charge the sentinel from its blind side and the sentinel fires at John before he could even get to do what he was trying to do and sends John flying from the blast a short distance from where he was a moment ago and from what I can sense is that John was in real trouble.
The blast also sends me flying and I hit a brick wall with a loud thud, shaking my head and I again charge the sentinel getting as close I was going to and not taking any more of a chance either. I jam the pipe as hard as I could into the sentinel’s right knee joint from behind and I run like hell and Use my powers to make myself invisible.
Although I’ve only use this power once or twice and knowing it will take a huge toll on my energy and at the moment I have no other choice in the matter I need this advantage to get to John and I make a bee line to him.
Quickly reaching John while the sentinel was down for how long it will recover and more than likely will be pissed off even more, “John it’s me Sid sorry about that you can’t see me at the moment tell you shortly it’s our only chance to get out of her and find a spot where I can try to patch the injuries you have, don’t get mad at me either,” I said not giving him a chance to respond and I picked John off the ground, also hearing John say that hopefully this was as bad as it could get, I shook my head “knuckle head I wish you hadn’t said that because I have a feeling it’s going to get far worse than what it is already. And here we go.”
I move as fast as I could away from the pier and down the dock and I find a space between two buildings and duck in and move towards the back seeing that we still could get away if the front was blocked.
