The Exiles; a group of heroes plucked from various era's in the multivers. Unhinged from time, they are guided by the enigmatic time Broker, they travel through the fabric of reality, charged with the duty of repairing abnormalities wich, if left unchanged, could unraveling reality itself. Earth 1746, a world ravaged by Generations of Civil War. One lone mutate has quelled instances in the fighting, using her illusions to force peace on her decimated homeland. The only problem... one of the battles she is about to stop is the one predestined to bring the world true Peace. Morph, de-facto leader of the Exiles, is tasked with stopping her. But he can't do it alone. Thing is... he and his team run into... complications, and will get sent spiralling uncontrolled through time..... and their going to land right here in CF-2. So... who wants to be unhinged from time? What we need is Charrecters from Alternate times and Realities... not just the Futures and the Pasts, but also the What if's, the Elseworlds. Each one is subject to aproval. ---:THE RULES:--- 1) The most important rule... only ONE Char per Player. This is non negotiable. Sure, some may be able to use NPC's to further the plot along... but they might not meet a happy end through this trip. 2) IF you are going to take on the alt version of a charrecter someone else plays on here, please contact the player to get permission first. 3) To Clarify: This is not just centered in the Marvel Universe... you can bring in Chars from other Comic Continuities as well. 4) OC's are welcome. Just be sure to give them a good home reality with an intreaging backstory. 5) Remember, they are going to end up here in the mainstream... so be absolutely sure that this is someone you want to keep playing. CURRENT ROSTERMORPH (Team Leader) Death Metal (Ghost Rider 2099) Thunderstrike (Alt. Conduit, earth 713) (Edited for clarification)

So, Spidey came up with an interesting possible twist to this, and an offer to play the villain role. And hashed out all the details to fit it into what we already have going. I'm not saying we HAVE to change this. But after seeing a few respond with interest, it's worth mentioning and seeing what others think. First of all, I'd like to note one technicality. The time broker. It's not exactly in character for him to leave our group stranded at the end of the plot. Since we don't have a time broker, and our objective is simply getting this lot to the board's timeline... this option does tie up that loose thread neatly, and gives us a real villain. So, Mojo. An old Marvel Villain whose home demension is based on Television ratings, and is known for taking people from their own demensions/timelines, and messing with them for 'reality television' programming, can be the real villain behind the curtain. Mojo rips all our characters from our individual timelines, makes us believe we are really Exiles, and drops us on Sasha's homeworld with our mission. As we already planned, When Sasha tries to mess with the Tallus, she breaks it, and that actually messes up Mojo's taping reception, causing Mojo to yell at Spiral to transport them all to the station for repairs. Spiral rushes to do that, but the Tallus inturrupts her signal as well, sending the group to the board's timeline, as planned... To our group it will look like we transported when the Tallus broke, and so when Mojo shows up on scene demanding we get back to his world, we fight him, and send him packing.... leaving us stranded in the board's timeline, as we wanted from the beginning. So. Anyone like this and want to change to having a Canon villain responsable? Anyone against? I want to get the thread started Saterday night, so I'd like some responses as soon as possible please. And thank you.

Sounds fine to me. I actually like this idea a bit better, as anything involving Mojo is a lot of fun.

I like the idea allot myself... Enough to NPC Spiral For our Mojo. Spoke to Bats about it on the phone, he likes it as well, and sees ways this could continue to tie Mojo into stuff after the initial plot.
I can even fit this into a rather cruel end for Morph here.
So. It looks like most of the people are saying this is what they want to do.
And thanks everyone for replying so quickly, I do appreaciate it.
I'll get this kicked off Saterday. It will probably be a couple rounds at least until Mojo would show, so I still have time to let Spidey know he has a character sheet to fill out.

If everyone is on board with this idea, then I'm in as well.
I'll wait a while after the plot starts before putting up a bio for Mojo in the Staff NPC section. I have future plans for him, as do other people, I hear.

It looks like there's more details needed so people know what we're doing here.
First of all the Exiles team is: Morph, Azzurro, Mimic, the Blue Beatle, Thunderstrike, Kenshiro (Deathmetal/GhostRider 2099...)
And there are still a couple players that could possibly jump in on the action yet.
Zeme, Or Sasha, the Russian, is our Target.
Mojo and Spiral will have key roles in this too.
First round is getting up our character introductions, and responding to the situation. Since Majority already seems to vote we fight instead of getting captured to get close to the target, the second round can show that. The fight should be enough to rouse higher suspicions and bring Sasha to the field, resulting in a real battle with powers and the fake tallus breaking, and everyone being flash jumped in time.
There may be another round of response before Mojo and Spiral make their appearance. We'll see how it plays out at this point.
Once all the Exiles have posted, I'll keep an update here for turn order.
Thank you.

Not trying to rock the boat here. But I'm a little confused. Haven't we only heard from 4 out of the 6 of us (Morph, GR, Bucket Head and me)? Unless I read the thread 2 quickly, noone's decided to fight. GR and Az made it clear they'd RATHER fight...but that's what the character's prfer. I didn't see any actual violence threatened or provoked yet. BB said she didn't want to be captured, and I posed evaluating the situation in case the encounter devolved into violence. So, maybe half of us would rather fight if Thunderpants decides he'd perfer that, but I think we're all waiting to see what Morph does. If he wants ti talk, we'll talk. If he wants to fight, we'll fight.

Just seconding what BB says. I didn't mean to hijack the plot with my character's dialogue. As BB says, my character stated he preferred to fight, but was willing to follow orders at the moment. I'm fine with whatever the plot creators want to do, whether that's fighting or getting captured. Also apologies about my misinformation on Sasha. That's been cleared up now.
As BB mentioned, since no character has actually engaged in violence yet, the team could still be captured if that's how everyone wants it. I'm down for whatever path is chosen.

I believe the problem here is that the 'plot creators' are a bit of a mystery now.
Between myself, Hawkeye, Spiderman, and Batman...We had this idea 2 years ago.
And 2 years past, I can't remember WHICH person was the 'creator'.
So, As the time went by, the only real detail we've kept is the team 'Exiles' as our key to bringing them in.
The original 'plot' has been lost in time with it's creator, and even our 'target' has changed in the last few months, which has changed details all over again.
And then we introduced the idea of Mojo.
The plot is pretty much a giant goolash of member ideas tossed in along the way, with MANY details forgotten and lost in time, or simply changed/updated as members lost our original views.
I'm trying to get it going with a loose line for people to be able to jump into, while keeping the goal clear: Bringing our characters to the main timeline.
In character, at this point with what responses we have, Morph would disarm the Russian soldiers in one clean shape changing move and tell his team to be gentle as they are unarmed, while telling the guy in front of him he tried to keep it civil, punching him in the jaw. These are humans with guns, it's not really like a big fight is going to be had. Morph doesn't want to see them slaughtered, that's in his character.
When Sasha was working on her powerset, being able to give our whole team a bit of difficulty was part of the point, and highly concidered durring approval processing. so getting a battle against her, is almost what she was made for.
So if Sasha is willing, we can start a fight on round 2, drawing her out to us, instead of my original idea of getting captured and brought right to her.
How we break the Tallus is also something we have to change, as the Tallus itself keeps changing and is now a prop from Mojo-verse.
It can be Sasha who breaks it, but at this point, it could also be one of her men with a high powered weapon of some sort.
I personally think it would be dramatic for Morph to try and reason with Sasha in battle, and one of her men from the sidelines attempts to take Morph out, catching the Tallus completely by accident, causing it to explode.
We have 2 or 3 rounds before we are ripped from Sasha's timeline and tossed into the main one, Where the real battle begins against Mojo and Spiral.
It really doesn't matter WHAT we do this early in, it's not going to change the outcome.
I want everyone to do what is in character, since this is new character introduction, respond to the scene how you will.
Morph is here as leader to drag the team through. Don't hesitate to lean on him in any way.
If you have ideas, come here and post them.
As I said, this plot has no creators, it has so far been an entire group effort.
As long as we keep it moving forward, we should be having Fun.
And that is what we are in this for.
To have Fun.

And to address the confusion BB, I wasn't just going by thread response.
When I said 'majority seems to vote' , I meant what people have said all areas on the subject.
No one hijacked the plot.
I posted, and people responded; some in the thread, some in the cbox, and some even in text or through cell phones.
Being admin, I tend to talk to people in many places. Not just through posts.
Sorry for the confusion there.

Other ideas that are worth noting and getting feedback on.... We haven't discussed where we plan to land when we do hit the main time line. And there's also different discussions on if your character is staying on the 'team' or going onto their own thing. This plot was designed to make characters playable, so I left the option open, not every character chosen for this initial 'jump' is designed to be a team player. But the option is there. Heck, even switching off and on as a character develops, is an option. Morph's the type of guy to keep a light on for all members to come back to even if they leave. So. In setting up for a team, it was joked around about people wanting a Castle HQ, and most scenarios makes that very highly unlikely, but I believe I can manage it, and using our landing location as a plot device, can help. Cassidy Keep: an actual Scottish Castle that by the board's time line is in Syrin's care. With a minor stretch of details, I can get Syrin in Cassidy Keep, though her presence would be temporary. This castle used to have a super villain in charge of it, Black Tom Cassidy, and was owned by Banshee, the Xmen himself. I'm thinking we land at the castle location, Mojo could have the location 'scouted' for future shows, and it's just one of many locations the mixed signal happened to land on due to the connections. (Mojo didn't plan for us to land there, but since it's one place he has on radar, it's a possibility on the roulette of the jump). Once we land on her doorstep, and help clear Mojo off in that battle, We can explain our story to her, and I have a side detail in place that will convince her to let us borrow the castle. (Layla Miller told her she'd help time... in creepy little miss 'I know things' ways.) So, what do you guys think? Even if we are in Scotland, I'm sure it won't take much time to come up with adequate transport for team stuff. Blue Beetle... we need to discuss some team stuff and what you can do for equipment once we set up base
