The early Mourning meeting with the shareholders were killer but he was able to deal with them. Looking on his P.D.A. starts buzzing and so he takes it out and looks and sees he has to meet up with Katalyn in his office to talk about the rest of his day.
The day is still young and he has to make sure he gets this deal done. He had heard that about the bad business that happened with them but he also heard they were a very good company also. Walking into his office he sees Katalyn and stretches.
“So Katalyn are we up to date on this Starware Company last thing we need to do is show them how ignorant we are! I want them to feel as though they are important to use because they will be!”
It’s been a while since Tony has done something like this. Mergers were usually either loads of fun or totally taxing he was hoping for it to be all column a.
He would be meeting one miss Karen Starr he has done business with a lot of people over the years, Some were good people other were complete jerks in the end all that mattered was if the meeting was a success or not.
“Katalyn I want you to get some our best champagne I believe that if you expect success it will happen!”
And if it does go south he and Katalyn could always order some food and relax. His all black pin striped suit has always given him luck in the past hopefully it hasn’t run out yet.
He sits down at his desk he couldn’t help but wonder what kind of person Karen Starr was. He had been to busy to look up any pictures of her all he had was a summary of her company. Justin Hammer was a rival that tried as hard as he could to not only break Tony but destroy his company.
It was rough dealing with that short minded man and in the end Justin lost but his daughter runs his company now and she is exactly like her father but better. Hopefully she will be able to sit down and talk it out with her but deep down he knew that would never happen.
He writes in his P.D.A. to give Rhodey a call its been forever since they got together and hung out. It will be nice to introduce his best friend to his new P.A. he doesn’t doubt that they will get along fine.

Sitting at my normal area of Tony’s office as I wait for him to return from the early morning with the Shareholders, normally I would be at the meeting as well with Tony.
But this morning I had other issues to deal with. I’m sorting through all the information for a business meeting later this morning Miss Karen Starr from Starware Company making sure everything up to date with information. And getting ready to over with Tony with what will be going on for the rest of the day.
Finally finishing sorting through the massive mound of paperwork that goes with a merger deal took over an hour to get everything in order for the meeting this will be a very interesting meet to say the least, heard quite a bit about Starware with some bad business but there the company was also very good, setting the thick folder down on the desk that I’m working at.
Tony walks into the office he is wearing his lucky suit and he looks very handsome in it, quickly standing up and he quickly barks off asking if he was up to date with Starware Company and he didn’t want to show that we were sluggish or even ignorant. He wanted them to feel important to us because they will if the deal goes through.
Clearing my throat and speaking in a business tone, “Mr. Stark you are up to date on all the information about Starware and they will feel very important after the meeting, here is all the information and updated information on Starware,” I said handing the thick folder to Tony.
He then tells me to retrieve the best bottle of champagne he believes if you expect success it will happen.
I nod to Tony and smile I had to agree with Tony 100% I know this meeting will be a success, seeing Tony take a seat at his desk.
I quickly walk of the office and I head down to the store room where the Champagne is kept.
Taking my time and I look through the racks carefully to find that best bottle of champagne. All that is stored in the room are very expensive and imported from different countries around the world the bottle are put in order by year, house or production.
After several minutes looking through the rack and finding a bottle of vintage Perrier-Jouet carefully pulling the bottle out and I head to the Service Kitchen area have one of the workers set up a tray with Champagne in a silver bucket of ice with three champagne glasses and have it brought up to Mr. Stark’s office.
Heading back to Tony’s office, entering the office and the service worker was only a moment behind me when he entered showing the worker to set the tray down and he quickly leaves the office.
Taking my seat at my little work area and I quickly go over the stocks with him and what else was that slated for the day. “Mr. Stark you have a business meeting with Miss Karen Starr at 11 am. Mr. Stark do you have any notes from the shareholder meeting that needs to be file or fulfilled?” Closing the folder I had open and I wait for Tony’s response.

The engine purred to life as I flicked the key in the ignition. My baby never fails to disappoint me. It’s a sweet ‘66 Pontiac GTO, and its all mine. A little gift for myself from the company, built using our experimental nanobot assembly process. Guys in the lab built them to convert junk into usable products in an instant. My tech guys really outdid themselves. I sigh a little, reminding myself that soon they wont be my tech guys anymore, at least not entirely. But, there’s not much I can do. Starrware is circling the drain, and this is about the only thing that’s really left to save us. I cant believe it came to this. I created this Company to help deal with the problems in the world that I couldn’t just punch away. It was a great idea, childish, but good. And like most childish thoughts, all it needed was enough money to make it happen. And like most childish ideas, it got smashed by the real world. My Chief of finances pulled the rug out from under us, running off with our cash and leaving me holding the bag.
So, sometimes you have to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and do what it takes to get by. Right now, that means finding a bigger company to buy us out. Half the tech that Starrware has produced could be outright dangerous in the wrong hands. I needed to find someone with money and morals. It was something of a difficult search, but there was one business that seemed to fit the bill. Stark Industries. A weapon manufacturing plant. Ya, I still think this could be a bad idea. But, they have released a huge number of inventions that might have been made of sweetness and run by rainbows. So, now we’re here, about to open up negotiations.
Better to be proactive.
I park on the street, paying my dues to the parking meter. I head down the sidewalk, heels clacking with each step. The doors swing open, and I enter into the atmosphere controlled lobby. A quick chat with the receptionist lets them know Karen Starr has arrived. I find my way to an elevator, and step inside. The walls are metallic, and polished to a mirrored gleam. I look myself over. Hair tied back, nice white blouse with a graphite jacket, matching pencil skirt. Cool, efficient, professional.
The express trip goes quicker than I expected. With a simple ding sound, we reach the top. The doors open, and All that’s left is a small hallway to navigate before I reach my destination. I knock twice, and then let myself in.
“Good morning”
I see Mr. Stark immediately, recognizing him from the images that came up from my research. I walk over, extending a handshake.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Mr. Stark. I’m glad you agreed to meet with me, I believe we have much to discuss”

Katalyn bring exactly the right bottle and glasses and bringing three glasses excellent. Looking at the reports of Starrware’s goods it seems they got very good marks and the quality of their product tended to be high.
He likes seeing things like that because he himself has high standards for Stark Tech. He has always had them high low grade merchandise could cost soldiers their lives and he hated that thought.
Katalyn asks if there is any paper work that needs to be taken care of. He thinks a while and the only thing he can think of is a review of the changes being emailed out . The changes were small things so that could wait.
“No Katalyn nothing that couldn’t be taken care of later, The emails can be sent out after this meeting it’s nothing to important!”
Tony felt that today had the promise of something good he felt. This could push Stark Enterprises even high on the dow and reaffirm the spot as a top grossing company.
The time was getting close he meditates a few minutes to get his poker face straight. All these type of meeting need to be done in a non personal way and he also needed not to seem to eager to make any type of deal. Not wanting to make the wrong impression he sets the champagne behind his desk along and the cups in his desk.
The phone in his office rings and he knew it was the girl in the lobby. She informs him that Ms. Karen Starr had just been to her desk and was now on the elevator. He thanked her and hung up the phone in years past the butterflies in his stomach would let themselves be known but now they were no butterflies to be found.
He hears the ding of the elevator and the open and shut. He sees Karen Starr as she enter his office and couldn’t help but think how she in way reminded him of Carol.
Strong women all seem to have a certain air about them. Carol has it so does Jennifer, and Wanda even Pepper and now Katalyn seem to carry themselves with this even if they themselves did not notices it.
He saw this in her and she wasn’t to bad to look at. Standing up as she reached his desk he shakes her hand and sits as she does.
“The pleasure is all mine Ms. Starr, I am happy to have the opportunity to see what we can do to help each other. By the way this is my Personal Assistant Katalyn if there is anything you could want or need I am sure she can arrange that you get it!”

Tony puts the bottle of Champagne behind his desk, and puts the glasses in the desk, can’t blame him don’t want to spoil this nor get our hopes up and hopefully the meeting will go smoothly.
He says there wasn’t any paperwork from the shareholder’s meeting and there were e-mails that could be sent out after the meeting it wasn’t anything important.
Phone rings and Tony picks it up a moment later he thanks the girl down in the lobby must be Tony’s guest has arrived and was on her way up.
It doesn’t take long and there is a ding from the elevator and opens, Miss Starr then steps out and walks over to Tony’s desk and extends her hand to Tony saying. It was her pleasure meeting him and there was much for them to talk about.
Tony and I stand up as he greets Miss Starr shaking her hand saying, the pleasure was his and was it was a pleasure to have an opportunity to see what he could do to help each other’s companies. He then introduces me to Miss Star, saying if she needed or wanted anything it would be arranged by me to get.
The three of us take a seat I nod to Miss Starr and smile, “pleasure meeting you Miss. Starr,” you could see Miss Starr was very confidence of herself the way she walked and speaks Miss Starr was very businesslike and it looked like she wanted to get the meeting started. Picking up my pen and I had my writing pad ready to take note from the meeting.

Well, introductions see to have gone well. You know what they say, you never get a second chance to make a first impression, and since we seem to have avoided any major faux pas, I can guess that the first impression is a pretty good one. I catch Mr. Starks eyes looking me over, and he seems to like what he sees. I could say I wasn’t doing the say, but it’d be a lie. He certainly didn’t look much like a CEO, and he defiantly didn’t carry the air of one. This was our first meeting, and yet he spoke as if we we’re old friends seeing each other. He turns, introducing me to his assistant, who expresses her delight in meeting me. I nod, giving a brief smile.
“Likewise Mrs. Katelyn”
There is a brief pause, before I feel the conversation start to shift towards more professional matters. I take a seat across from the two. In my head, I run through all the information that I’ve been cram studying. Facts, figures, graphs, costs, numbers, names, dates, all of it is swimming around inside my head. But I push it aside and focus on the presentation. This is the important part, the sell. Getting them interested.
“I founded Starrware with a simple goal in mind. 50 years ago, American Engineering stood for Ingenuity, style, Adventure and dependability. I believe that it is the same spirit which is needed if we are to move forward and address 21st century problems. Our Labs are dedicated to finding creative ways to overcome the biggest social and environmental issues of our time.”
I reach into the inner pocket of my blazer and extract a small disk, made of smooth silver plastic with a glass dome over the top. I place the hockey puck sized gadget on the table and then tap its exterior edge.
“Run Stark Presentation”
I hold my breath just a little as the disk hums to life. From the top, it projects a shimmering curtain of light, which quickly resolves itself into a stationary display. Currently, the Image is the Starrware Logo.
“This little Box is one of our newest creations. Currently there are more than 5 million television and computer screens being thrown out in the united states each year. While over 80 percent are recycled, the remainder are left to break down. This, is the Starrbox. Made of a durable synthetic polymer, designed to last over 50 years, they are able to take the roll of Computer screen and Television, cutting the waste down to almost nothing. Run Drexler Video”
The Screen changes, showing the inside of Starrlabs. The focus is the large chamber that I’ve seen dozens of times as I walk thought the office. The exterior walls are Clear, allowing a view of the interior. Piled in the center is a load of garbage. The Video begins to play, showing a Swirling blue mist enter the chamber, and engulf the trash pile, after a few moments, the mist clears, revealing the ’66 Pontiac GTO.
“This is The Drexler Chamber. Using Nano technology, it converts trash into virtually any desired product for which it has the schematic for. This is just another way we’re working to eliminate waste and repair damage done to the environment.”
I scan the two, trying to read them, gauge how best to continue. I could show more of our Products, but I sense that this would get dull quickly. Instead, I feel it best to be a bit more direct.
“While most of our projects are fully functional, they aren’t yet ready for mass production as a consumer product. For that, we need the financial backing of a powerhouse corporation. Which Is why I approached Stark Industries. Combined, I feel we can really do some lasting good for the world. “

Karen takes a seat and she starts her proposal. Tony listens as she gives her opening speech and finds it to be very interesting. Reaching into her blazer she retrieves a disc like device and places it on the table and taps it twice to activate it Tony thinks to himself that is must come in handy.
She then continues saying that the device could take the place of computer monitors and TV’s. The shelf life of the product would lead to less waste made by the both outdated, unpopular, and unfixable models that just sit in dumps.
The screen then changes and shows what looks like a large chamber. The clear walls allow them to see into it as they witness he was watching with interest as a mist converts the trash in the room into a ’66 Pontiac GTO a very nice car in his opinion.
Karen then reveals that that was the Dexter Chamber. It could take the trash and reproduce almost anything as long as they had the schematics first. Nodding his head he shows interest as he is interested, She says they are not ready for mass production just yet the lack of funds being a key factor.
“Thanks Ms. Star I am honored that you would choose Stark Enterprises as your first choice, I have done allot in the business world not of them being positive. Outside of the Iron Man suit there are not many projects I still do as far as weapons goes!”
Tony still helped S.H.E.I.L.D. even though Nick is a very gruff guy he loves this country and does everything he can to protect it. He liked all he had seen and this company has a lot of promise in his eye’s.
“Ms. Starr I believe this has promise I like the idea of doing something that can be positive, The world needs things that will improve not only our way of life but shows we care about our planet what can we do to get his deal done?”
His feeling that this situation was going to be a success and the champagne was going to be needed.

I could see Tony quickly looking Miss Starr over I more or less try not to roll my eyes and I sigh to myself wish he would just not look the ladies over.
Miss Starr gives me a nod and a smile and returns the greetings, there is a slight pause. It looked like Miss Star was going over her mental notes and then she speaks.
Saying that she had founded her company over 50 years ago for varies reasons. Then she reaches into the inside pocket of the blazer and removes a small disk that looked like it was made of very light plastic and I believe there was a glass dome over the top kind of looked like a glass snow chime and it was the size of a hockey puck.
Miss Starr taps the gadget twice and says a couple of words for a command the little device comes to life the logo for Starrware appears.
Miss Starr speaks again saying that the little device was a one of their newest creations, stating there was x amount of computer screens and want though only 80% are being recycled the rest was left to rot in dumps which would take forever to vanish. And this little device could replace the computer screens and TV screens and it would last up to 50 years or more.
Giving the device another command the screen changes and it looks like we are looking into the labs of Starrware then there is something that looks like a chamber of some kind and the chamber is called Drexler the walls are clear and in the middle of the chamber is a pile of garbage there is a blue mist that swirls and floats over the pile of garbage within minutes a 66 Pontiac GTO appears.
I’m totally in awe at what I just witnessed and I whistle lowly I’m very impressed with the Drexler chamber uses Nano Technology, as it converts garbage into just about anything as long as there blueprints for it.
She continues speaking saying that the project are fully working but were not ready for mass production due to the luck of funding and it was the reason why she had come to Stark Industries, with the companies combined she feels they could do a lot of good for the planet.
I see Tony has his full attention on the Presentation instead of eyeing Miss Starr which unusual for him and it looks like he is very interested in what Miss Starr as presented to him. Tony finally speaks to Miss Starr, he believes there is promise and he likes the idea of doing something good that can help and be positive to see improvements in ways of life but also shows that they care for the planet plus what can they do get this deal done.
I have a very good feeling about this I’m quickly writing down key notes, and I could agree with more with what Miss Starr and Tony have said. We need to stop wasting so much material and start using what materials we have more wisely to save our world.

Short and sweet. My presentation had been a lot longer when I wrote it, but I'd gotten a feeling that short and sweet would be better. Now that I actually finished, I second guessing myself. All of those nasty shoulda woulda coulda's are looming up. Little details left unsaid, projects that might have won us more support. If we get turned down here, Im not sure what I'll do. The bank is clawing at the door, and I can't keep them at bay much longer without some kind of funds.
Mr. Stark speeks up, expressing his interest in the projects, and supporting Starrwares dedication towards technological responsiblities. I have to fight back a huge sigh of relife when Tony gives his word of approval towards finishing these dealings. Being all...buissinessy, has never been my strong suit. Maybe thats what got the company in this pickle to begin with. It'll be good, taking some positive news back to the office afterwords. Everyones been pushing hard to keep the lab from shutting down, and they need this little boost to keep spirits up.
"Well, Mr. Stark, at the moment, Starrwares in dire need of funding. We're willing to offer Stark Enterprises partial ownership of all current Starrware technology, in exchange for Fifty Million Dollers, of which I'd like at least 10 million up front."
I cross my fingers behind my back. This is the make or break moment. Asking for this kind of cash out of nowhere is insane, but thats what it takes.
"In exchange, you'd recieve Partial controlling power of any and all Starrware technology, until such a time as the loan is payed back to Stark Enterprises."
I get that feeling in the back of my stomach, telling me to take a risk here. No guts, no glory.
"And, it would really make my day."

He sees the relief wash over her face she seems like a really sweet girl. She seems to be sincere with her interest in doing business with him and the deal seems to be fair on both sides. Tony could remember a time not long ago were he was the other side the desk and he was trying to get his life back together.
He listens as Karen as she says what it will take for their joint venture to be successful. She was looking to attain a fifty million dollar loan ten of it coming up front. Putting on his best business face he nods and leans back in his chair.
“Well Ms. Starr I am glad because it seems we will be able to help each other, I can give you the money but it will take some time to get together!”
Going into his desk draw on the top right hand side he pull out some paper work. Ten million dollars is and this paper work would help get the ball rolling it one paper was his withdrawal slash confirmation papers. He had to make the request and be able to prove it is not some random crazy guy trying to take his money.
The paper work takes him roughly ten minutes to get it done and he put his stamp on it. Since this is a high profile account the bank manager himself would get involved and to make sure it stayed private he would take them to his office, Keeping the transaction as low profile as possible would reduce the need of things like an armored car which would in this city draw the wrong kind of attention.
“Katalyn I am very sorry I have to ask this of you but can you go an retrieve the cash, The Bank manager name is Frank Harrison and he is a good guy I am sure he will do all he can to make sure everything goes as quickly and safely as it can go!”
He hates putting Katalyn in this position but he would make it up to her with lunch or something. That would take care of the ten million the other forty would take a few days before it was transferred.
Taking out the bucket that the champagne was in he puts it on his desk. Putting out the three glasses he pours some in all of them.
“Ms. Downs before you go please stay for this Ms. Starr I don’t know if you would like a drink or not but I would at least like to celebrate this successful negotiations!”
Picking up one of the glasses and flashing one his best smiles.
“This is going to be a day that will start a beautiful partnership between Stark Tech and Starrware may this take us to a better future not only for us but for the world!”

Presentation from Miss Starr was short; it wasn’t way long but not really short either. It was simple and down to the point of the meeting an excellent presentation.
I’ve presentations before where one would give more detail than was needed making it longer and it gets old after awhile you more or less lose interest.
Dad always said when giving a presentation of any kind you want to be in the middle not too short or too long in the middle you can give just the right amount of information without having the other person lose interest in what you are trying to point out and not beat around the bush that usually bites people in the long run.
I could see that Miss Starr was relieved when tony give his support and was very interested with Starrware’s tech I can see both companies working well together.
Miss Starr speaks her terms for the deal, saying that her company really, really needs the funds to keep the company going and she is will to give Stark Enterprises part ownership for all current Starrware tech with an exchange for the amount of 50 million dollars, and that she will need 10 million on the spot, also adding that Tony will get partial control of any and all of Starrware tech until the loan is paid back in full to Stark Enterprises, and it would make her day.
I cough a little and stop writing for a moment to choke back a gasp of awe from the staggering amount of money that Miss Starr has requested for the terms of the deal, I very quickly finish writing the notes form the meeting.
Tony is silent for a few moments before speaking again. One could tell that he was very interested in the deal and I think the terms for the deal are fair. Not too many companies will say they give partial control of their tech until the loan is paid back, Tony speaks saying
He was happy because it looks like both companies will help each other and he will give Miss Starr the funds needed it will take a little time to put it together. Tony reaches into the top right drawer of his desk taking out what looked like his withdrawal/confirmation papers it didn’t take long and Tony finishes making out the paper work. He looks over to me saying he was for doing this request asking me if I would get the cash, tells me the bank Manager’s name Frank Harrison and he would do all he can to get everything done quickly and safely as possible.
Taking a small note pad writing down the name as I try to remember what Bank Tony did business with coming back quickly to my mind and I write down the bank name also reaching over to Tony and I take the withdrawal/confirmation papers with the small note pad with the papers.
Standing up and I was about to leave and start the take that Tony gave me, I know this will take about 30 minutes to an hour if not longer and I would like to finish this high profile task as soon as possible. Tony says before I go he would like to me to join him and Miss Starr would like a drink to celebrate the success of the meeting also saying that from this day on Tony sees a new beginning for a partnership between Starrware and Stark Enterprises and may it take both companies to a better future.
I don’t want to stay for the toast I would like to get this going and over with. But it would be very rude of me to just and leave.
Tony pours the champagne in the glasses, taking a glass and raising it, “for the future of Stark Enterprises and Starrware!” Quickly downing the champagne it taste terrible in my opinion rather toast with Ginger-Ale.
Looking over to Miss Starr and Tony, “Mr. Stark, Miss Starr please excuse me I will be heading out I will return shortly. It has been a pleasure meeting you Miss Starr and a pleasure doing business with you,” I said picking up the paper work for the withdrawal and notes from the meeting that will be needed to be filed away later and I step out of Tony’s office.
Tapping my ear piece and calling security, requesting that I will need one security guard to go with to the bank for business purposes and it will be high profile. Stepping over to my desk setting the notes down and I open the top left drawer in the back I take out my revolver and stash it in my purse, tapping my ear piece again requesting a limo for the ride to the bank.
Checking to make sure that I have everything I need, and I head down to the lobby, the head security guard for the shift greets me and we head off to the bank.
Stepping inside the bank I request to talk to Frank Harrison saying it was official business for Stark Enterprises and saying who I am and showing my badge that I work for Stark Enterprises.
A few moments later I’m greeted by Mr. Harrison and he leads me to his office, he takes a seat at his desk as I take a seat in front of the desk reaching into my purse and take out the paper work for the withdrawal, “I’m here to make a withdrawal for Mr. Stark,” I said setting the papers on the desk.
Mr. Harrison picks up the paperwork looks at the withdrawal amount and the conformation a moment later sets the paper down and he pulls out another set of papers about 10 minutes later he finishes and speaks, “Well Miss Downs this is a very large amount of cash is there any certain way you would like the cash arranged?”
Not sure how this would be arranged thinking for a moment and quickly decide, “large bills and could that be arranged in a briefcase?”
Mr. Harrison smiles, “that can be arranged Miss Downs I need to sign here for the withdrawal,” Mr. Harrison sets the papers in front of me carefully and quickly reading the papers before signing, after reading the papers I sign them and slid it back to Mr. Harrison.
He stands up and walks over to me, “this will take about 25 minutes in the mean time please make yourself comfortable I will have someone bring you a cup of coffee for you and your security guard,” Mr. Harrison said smiling and he leaves the office to arrange the withdrawal himself.
Several minutes later another worker enters the office with two cups of coffee for both of us with sugar packets and creamer packets.
It didn’t seem that long and Mr. Harrison returns to the office with the brief case setting it down on the desk he opens the case to show the cash, “there you go Miss Downs the full amount is there. Will there be anything else I can help you with?”
“No Mr. Harrison this should be fine and thank-you very much for handling this withdrawal a pleasure doing business with you have a nice day.” I said politely shaking Mr. Harrison’s hand and I pick up the brief case.
“Always a pleasure doing business with Stark Enterprises you also have a nice day Miss Downs.”
Stepping out of Mr. Harrison’s office I leave the bank with the security guard and head back to Stark Towers, looking at my watch it took just about an hour for the task to finish, once back at Stark Towers, thanking the security guard for going with me to the bank and I head up to Tony’s office.
About 10 minutes later I step into Tony’s office and walk over to his desk and carefully set the briefcase down, “Mr. Stark everything went fine here is the paper work for the withdrawal,” I said as I set the paperwork down on the desk for Tony to look over then it will be filed away.

The drink goes don’t as smoothly as the meeting after a brief exchange Katalyn goes to take care of the errand. Taking a moment while she wasn’t looking Tony checks Karen out he sees she is a very attractive woman.
Pouring himself another drink he makes sure his eyes are on the glass before she could catch him. Picking up the bottle he shakes it and gives her a look as if asking if she wanted more.
“So Karen do mind if I call by your first name you can call me Tony, Anyways tell me what got you into the business world?”
The business world can be harsh and having mad as many enemies as he has having the right friends is always a huge help. Sometimes it takes more than just a good suite and he has a few of those.
“So tell me Karen when you are lucky to get out of the office who do you spend your time?”
Everyone has an outlet a way of cutting loose when the stress gets to be to much. He has a lot of things he does one of them being his Iron Man suit. Finishing his drink he puts the glass down on his desk.
“Am I right in saying that you haven’t been in New York long and do you like? The Reason why I ask that is that you are a beautiful woman and I am sure I haven’t see you around the city!”
Tony notices nearly an half an hour had passed since Katalyn had left. He knows that Katalyn is a very smart person and knows how to take care of herself.

Mr. Stark dispatches his aid, Mrs. Katelyn, to go to the bank and receive the funds. A curious choice, since I would have been just as happy to receive the funds electronically, or even take a check. But I suppose this was fine as well, I’m not going to go looking a gift horse in the mouth. I mean, if you had asked me if I had believed I had any chance of walking out this meeting with the funds in hand, I’d have laughed in your face. And here I am, stunned into silence that everything was playing out. It takes Mr. Stark offering a glass of champagne before I snap out of it.
I raise my glass as Tony gives a toast, nodding with his sentiments “To new business and new inspiration”
I take a rather unlady like gulp, feeling the bubbles tickle my throat. I needed it to calm down, otherwise I was likely to leap over the desk and plant a big wet one right on Tony’s lips. Before today, Starrware was finished, My company wad bleeding funds left and right. But now, I’ve got a shot at building things back up. It hurts a little, but I have to keep from acting to excited. If let on how much trouble my finances are, then I could scare off Tony and his investment, leaving Starrware high and dry. I take another sip of my drink, taking my time with this one to actually enjoy the taste, noting how Tony takes the apparent distraction to give me a good look over. A normal person wouldn’t have even caught it, but I can hear the subtle change in his heart rate, smell the sudden flush of pheromones in his sweat. It makes me smile a little, knowing that he likes what he sees.
My glass almost empty, I nod as Tony offers the bottle, getting a refill. He asks if he can call me by my first name, and insisting that I use his as well. He inquires what got me interested in business, and I consider how to best answer.
“Well Tony, I suppose if we’re going to be working with one another; it’d be a bit strange to keep things so formal, so yes, feel free to use my first name.” I pause after he finishes pouring my drink, taking a third sip. This is defiantly the good stuff, top line Champagne, and even though it’d take a hundred barrels of the stuff to get me buzzed, I can still enjoy the flavor. “And I’ve always been a bit of a surprise when it came to business. When I was younger, I was a bit of a wild child, and In some ways I still am. But I have good family, they helped me find my way in the world. I started doing mostly humanitarian stuff, lending a hand where It was needed. After a while, I started to realize that even though I could do a lot of good just by getting my hands dirty and putting in a good days work, there we’re plenty of problems that elbow grease alone couldn’t fix. I’m fortunate to have some friends who we’re willing to listen to my half crazy ideas, and provide some start up cash. And from there, I built Starrware.”
I lean back, momentarily caught up in memories. Most of it is true, just not for this world. This is the second time I’ve built Starrware. The first time was in my own world, and let me tell you, I wasn’t nearly as good at handling a company then as I am now. He inquires about what I do in my off time.
“Hehe, that’s a good one. I’ll get back to you after I have some off time.”
Between running a company, doing work with the Justice league and Justice society, as well as freelance heroics, I barely have enough time to feed my cat, let alone relax. Still, I can’t rightly go spreading around all my secrets like that, now can I?
“Kidding of course. No, when I’m away from the office, I’m usually out hanging with a few Gal pals of mine, getting into all kinds of trouble here and there, and fighting the battles of New York City life. Nothing all that spectacular I’m afraid. Certainly not as interesting as half the escapades of yours that has ended up on newsstand tabloids. “
I crack a smile at my taunts, as does Tony. He asks, rather out of the blue, if I’ve been in the city long, Tony believing that I must have only just arrived her, and almost making me spill my drink when he says it because he would have noticed a beautiful woman like me before. I’m to flabbergasted to answer right away, unsure if he was kidding or being serious, and then dealing with a creeping realization that he means it. I cover up the pause with another deep drink, emptying my glass and buying myself a few moments.
I know how I look, I know people find me attractive. I don’t try and flaunt it, and I don’t try to hide it either. So, this isn’t exactly the first time I’ve received such comments. But it is certainly the first time I’ve gotten something so forthright, and from such wealthy individual. Even stranger is that we’ve only just met. Don’t get me wrong, Tony’s a pretty nice guy as far as I can tell, and I wouldn’t say he isn’t my type. But Business before pleasure, at least that’s what I thought we we’re doing.
“Well, your right there I suppose, at least partially. I’ve been in the city for a while now, though I’ve only just managed to purchase an apartment. I suppose we just run in different social circles, at least until now.”
I try and stick to my guns as best I can, because I can’t just ignore his comment and pretend I didn’t hear.
“I have to say though, offering me boatloads of cash, filling me up with expensive Champagne, flattering me with complements, and sending your secretary away, leaving just the two of us. I heard you we’re a fast operator, but I clearly have underestimated you.”

Karen is a very engaging person thinks Tony not shying away from the topics at least not at the moment. The answers to his question about what got her into business made him want to know more, He had a feeling that there had to more because there is almost always more to it but he could be mistaken.
He enjoyed all of her answers they felt totally honest ones to him. She was even able to give him a friendly shot after laughing he takes a drink.
“ Well I have had a few things that have taken a life of there their own!”
She tells him he almost had it right that she is kind of new to the city but she also had her own circle of friends she hangs out with. Makes since he thinks there are a few people that he has yet to meet because of said circumstance Bruce Wayne being one of them.
Her next caught him off guard he choke on his drink and has to get a napkin to wipe his mouth. All the factors she pointed out would suggest some carnal underlining. The though of it was very tempting her body was like that of women out of most men fantasy.
“Awe sounds like you caught me!”
With a another short chuckle and a smile he let her know he is kidding. He was enjoying himself it has been forever since a business meeting has been this much fun in fact lately Katalyn has been the person other person he has this fun with.
“I’m sorry if I offended you but there is times when my need to tell how I feel at times gets me in a whole lot of trouble! But I do mean what I said you are beautiful but assure I have no unpure motivation for my decisions! But here I am asking all these questions do you have any for me?”
The free exchange of ideas is what lead to major growths in technology there is no doubt about that part of Tony’s mind wonder if the talks started like this. He was curious about what she would ask him things should really get fun.

Walking to my desk setting the briefcase down on the desk taking my left hand and rubbing my right shoulder slightly, the briefcase was a little on the heavy side then again carrying 50 million dollars around not an everyday thing. Rotating my shoulder a few times as it cracked a little sighing now that felt better.
Taking the notes form the meeting and filing them away in the folder marked Starrware there are two folders one for all the information and one for all the meetings I’m sure are to come with Starrware. Also taking the bank notes and the withdrawal slip I file them in a special place once that is finished and locking it up.
Taking my purse I dig out my hair brush and quickly rearrange my hair and I slip on a little more rose petal body spray, putting the brush and the body spray back in my purse then I put my purse back in its normal place.
Stepping around the desk and I pick up the briefcase and walk to Tony’s office out of respect I knock on the door lightly letting Tony know that I have returned opening the door slightly I could hear Tony and Miss Starr talking and see them toasting for the new partnership between the two companies.
Though it seemed like that Miss Starr had been silent for a moment or two, then she speaks saying for the new business and new inspiring.
It look like that Miss Star was more or less pretty excited about the outcome of the meeting and getting 50 million dollars I probably would be excited myself. And Miss Starr gulped the champagne down to calm her nerves down.
Shaking my head that must have tickled her throat all the way down, then she sips the champagne as she savors the flavor. Tony refills the glass for Miss Starr with Champagne and she is silent for a moment as she was thinking about something then she says if Tony and her are going to work with each other Tony could call her by her first name, I’m pretty sure that Tony has already said that she could call him by his first name as well.
I must be old fashioned, I address everyone I work with or I don’t know well by Mr. Mrs. or Miss or they say it is okay to call them by their first names, just the way I was brought up.
Miss Starr pauses as Tony finishes refilling her glass and she takes another sip, it looked like that Miss Starr enjoyed the champagne. Saying that she had been a little bit of a surprise when it came to business when she was young a bit on the wild side and is in a little way now, has a good family who helped her find her way in the world. She started the doing mainly humanitarian work leading a hand when needed.
Kind of reminds of Mom and Dad they helped in ways I can’t describe. Always willing to get her hands dirty and getting a good days work in plenty of problem solving and so on. Miss Starr leans back in the chair seems like that she was caught up in a memory of the past of some sort.
From what I can gather is is that Tony must have asked here what got her into building and running a business.
She speaks again saying she was kidding when she was off work she usually hangs out with her friends, finding trouble also battling the New York City crowds and life.
Seeing that Miss Starr smiles and Tony also smiles at that. Then she says that Tony was right she guessed at least partially. That she had been in the city for while and she just now managed to by an apartment so she supposed that they ran in different social circles.
Okay this was getting a little personal and not being focused on the meeting itself. Then again Tony always made sure that he could make it personal when it came to pretty or knock out woman, Pepper had given that warning the very first day I trained with her. I made sure to keep that in mind, trying to remember what Pepper had told me if I walked into something like this.
Hearing Miss Starr says that Tony was offering her lots of money, getting her filled up on top notch champagne flattering her with complements and leaving them together while I was out getting the withdrawal, hearing that Tony was fast moving in and she had underestimated Tony.
Damn straight you have Miss Starr; Tony is lighting fast for moving in for a kill when it comes to pretty woman or knockout woman.
From the conversation between the two first Tony asks Miss Starr how she got into the business world, usual question asked with how one how they got into the business world.
Second he asks what she does when is not working, third asking her if she was new to the city, only because he hadn’t seen her before.
Okay the last two questions are just a little too personal to ask at a business meeting and this being the first meeting not good, then again that’s Tony.
Lastly Miss Starr looked like she was kind of flirting back to Tony, and I know Tony will go with that in a huge way.
Finally remembering what Pepper had told me about this kind of situation, well it’s time to bust his little bubble and knock him back to the business meeting. Taking a deep breath, letting it out slowly put my very best business face on knocking on the door gain and then step into Tony’s office.
Walking over to Tony’s desk looking straight at him, “Looks like someone made it on Mr. Stark’s radar,” dropping the briefcase down on Tony’s desk with a loud thud.
Still looking at him, “Mr. Stark can’t help being Mr. Stark, only thing as fast as Mr. Stark’s math is his flirting,” I said with a cheerful but yet stern voice
Pepper says that usually that the joke would be more than enough to snap Tony back to business that was at hand.
“Mr. Stark here is the requested item for you client Miss Starr. Miss Starr best wishes with getting your company back to what it has been doing. Will there be anything else Mr. Stark?”
