Hey all. I know this is a might late to relay, but I won't be on much for the next few days. Yesterday we braved that big ice storm that hit the midwest to make it to Rapid, and will be spending Christmas in my sisters house.

While there is computer access... it's not like I'm going to spend all my time on the PC, not over christmas.

SO... see yuz all sunday.

Words cannot describe... any of it.

I believe my motherboard just died.

Of course, I'm going to have someone take my computer in to get it checked while I'm working tomarrow, so we'll see.

But. I believe this is it for my computer. It's done.

I've had many MANY computers in my lifetime, and none of them have given me the technical breakdowns this one has, and I've done allot more damage to past models.

I'm not inclined to fix it.

I will have it looked at, get an estimate. But even with an estimate, I can't afford to fix it.

So.

I am without a computer of my own, and I really have no clue for how long.

Since we just spent over $400. fixing this one, and then a shock $3050.00 on a furnace right behind that, I just don't have it.

I do have this lap top I can use.

I will still be keeping an eye on things.

But I will be limited.

And... sadly... I'm back to no msn all over again.

I'll leave updates as I have them.

Unfortunetly... it's looking like it might be a long while.

I do have this laptop to borrow. So it's not going to be a sabbatical exactly... I will be around.

The motherboard is completely fried.

My computer is totally done.

And replacing it completely is not within my means.

We are talking about trying with our income tax return in a month or so... but I can't get my hopes up, as we already had planned to use those funds to cover the gaping hole the new furnace has left on things.

Probably won't see any up dates on this situation for a long time.

But I will still be around. I am still keeping an eye on things.

And eventually I'll blow off being so upset about it that I will hang out and say hi in the cbox too.

Oh boy that does suck big ass time Dawn sorry about the computer hopefully things will work out in time. Even with you still being here on and off still going to miss ya.

. . . My computer is out of commission again go figure. I am goign to call Dell and raise hellon monday but . no idea when it wil be fixed. I am stealing my husbands computer when I can. With any luck I wil be back soon but if they tell me its the hard drive again I might break something . . like a knee . . . .

Well, I said I'd post updates when I had them.
Sadly, it's not good news.
I just finished my taxes, which I expected would get us out of the hole, and it didn't.
So I'm still stuck without a computer of my own, hanging out on a borrowed dino that hardly works and can't multi task.

I am working on alternate plans. But nothing's changing as I'd hoped by this time.

Well I've been fighting a damn virus on my laptop all weekend and I've had it. Tomorrow I'm taking it in and having it looked over/lobotmized. Wish I didn't have to but those are the breaks. So that means that for the next few days I won't be around as I usualy am. I'll chech in here once and awhile but only at work. I held out this long so that I could get a couple post up before hand.

But in any case, I'll be back as soon as I can.

Well, to paraphrase that annoying witch Glenda: "I had the power fix my computer all along."

Still had to wipe it clean and start over, but atleast I didn't have to pay up the ass to have it done. And it was finished in a day.

giving everyone a heads up I may or may not be online tonight it has been very windy here and has knocked my power out kind of go figure. Hopefully I'll be online tomorrow

Looks like I have to put up an actual 'away'.

People got fired at work. Several people.

But not I.

Nope. I still have a job, with a schedule posted that leaves me no time to do anything.

Most likely won't be online tonight my internet is down should have it back tomorrow, using my laptop don't want the laptop on the net anymore than I need to use it lol, don't want to get another nasty virus like I did over a year ago. Should be back tomorrow if not tomorrow I will be back on Monday.

Okay... I don't know what the deal is... but something just happened on my PC and now I can't access the majority of programs on my desktop. I might have to take it in this morning... since I'll be working the next 4 days it'll be a good opportunity.

Just thought I'd let you all know.
