What If?... Knightfall Story Idea

Now that I have heard back from everyone, it looks like we are ready to start the storyline. As many of you know, Knightfall was a very large and long storyline, so the plot will be divided into parts. Thus, not everyone will be active in every aspect of the story and some might not be active until the end (as Joker mentioned).

The first part of the story will consist of the appointment of a new Batman (Dick Grayson) following Bruce Wayne's defeat. The second part of the story will consist of some of the exploits of this new Batman against various villains, including Bane. The third part will consist of Bruce Wayne's return and whether or not he retakes the mantle of Batman.

Therefore, the first part of the storyline will include these characters: Batman, Dick Grayson, Jean Paul Valley, Robin, James Gordon and Bane. This first part takes place after the defeat of Batman, so Bane will start off the story. From there, the other characters can direct the choosing of Dick Grayson, etc. however they wish.

I play as Bane, so the story should be up in the next day or two.

Okay, looks like this storyline is officially in business. As you can probably see, the first two posts (Bane's and Nightwing's) are essentially introductory posts, which is the goal right now. Basically, the rest of the Bat-people (Batman, Robin, Jean-Paul and Commissioner Gordon) can go ahead and chime in with similar posts. The idea here is to establish each character and his perspective of the events taking place.

After the Bat-people have posted, I will introduce a formal posting order for the rest of part 1. All our villains involved in this storyline can sit tight for now. You'll get to have your fun soon.
